Pull tabs on the back.Heel measures approx 2 inches.Boot is approx 5.25 inches from the heel.Sole is workboot style.There is some box rubbing, but there were places that I thought were, and then I ran my hand across the suede, and it was just the suede, but these boots are beautiful.
